Jasper Road Public School Canteen 

                                  

In accordance with the guidelines set within the Healthy Canteen Strategy **

A (P&C) Canteen Management Committee develops policies and determines items for sale. Profits from sales are used by the P&C to provide facilities for the school.

Canteen Hours: 9.00 am – 2 pm.  Open every school day students are in attendance. Service for students during recesses.

Menu and Price Lists are available or at the Canteen.

Staffing: Voluntary help from parents on a roster which operates from February each year. 

This involves attendance from 11.00am to 2.00pm.

ORDERING PROCEDURES 

• Print name, class and order (in dark pen) on a paper bag. 

• Lunch orders (with correct money if possible) can be deposited in the large red bin located outside the canteen between 8.30 am and 9.00am.

• Lunches are sent to classrooms at the commencement of the lunch period.

• Playlunch items/drinks may be purchased by students in Years 3-6 during morning recess.

POINTS TO REMEMBER

• Orders to be placed in red lock-up bin between 8.30am and 9.00am.

• Name and Class should be clearly marked on bags.

• Please ensure there are no foreign coins as they cannot be accepted.

• Ice Blocks and Ice Creams that are ordered are to be collected from the canteen at lunchtime. 

• Prices subject to change – notification of changes will be provided in the Monday Note. 

• Please use your own paper bag or brown paper bag provided by supermarkets for ALL lunch orders. 

• Canteen supplied bag – 20c 

• No Hot Food to be ordered for students doing PSSA Sport on Fridays.

NOTE:  If your child has any problems involving the Canteen please see the supervisor so any difficulties can be resolved.
